JS/Phish is a virus capable of copying itself (multiplying) and thus infected other files and programs. This virus uses infected computers’ resources (hard disk space, RAM), corrupts and erases files, and steals personal information. JS/Phish is usually distributed via emails, which are sent by the virus to all contacts found on an infected computer.
Recommended for users:
- Install or update used device protection systems;
- Scan your computer with an anti-virus program;
- Install operating system and application updates;
- Do not click on suspicious links in emails and websites.
