Nachi is a malicious software code, also known as a worm, which often enters users’ devices without their knowledge Worms can spread via malicious email attachments. The worm scans the infected computer for files, such as address books, or temporary webpages, that have email addresses. The worm then sends itself to those email addresses, making it seem as if the email is from someone they know.
- Install or update used device protection systems;
- Scan your computer with an anti-virus program;
- Install operating system and application updates;
- Do not click on suspicious links in emails and websites;
- Disable unused plugins.
