What is JS:Trojan.Script

JS:Trojan.Script is a malicious JavaScript code that targets browsers. The malicious code can be placed both in a separate file and integrated into the files with .html, .asp, .php extensions. It affects devices by using vulnerabilities in Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash Player. The malware does the following:

  • Manipulates search results;
  • Redirects users to malicious pages;
  • Steals login data.



  • Install or update used device protection systems;
  • Scan your computer with an anti-virus program;
  • Install operating system and application updates;
  • Do not click on suspicious links in emails and websites;
  • Disable unused plugins.
