Description:
Trojan.DNSchanger is a malicious software code, also known as a Trojan, which often enters users’ devices without their knowledge. Once inside the computer, the trojan changes the value of NameServer registry key to a certain IP address. Because of this, the user is automatically redirected to malicious websites that might be hosting other malicious software. The DNSchanger Trojan is distributed together with free software, and can be downloaded and installed by other malware.
