Virut botnet Network

The Virut botnet Network

Vulnerable computer systems and applications:

Windows OS.

Virut is one of the biggest malicious botnet networks, operating since 2006. Devices are added to the botnet by the Win32/Virut malware, which spreads via unsafe websites and infected storage devices.

The botnet uses infected computers to spread malware in the network, most common of which is Waledac. The malware adds the device to another botnet, which is used to send spam.
